Good to hear. Thanks for your response Fezzik. At least we know that it can work. In the meantime, due to financial constraints, I have had to sell my M45x along with my very high monthly payments and very high mileage payments, and got a 2nd hand 2010 (ie. latest shape) GTI. It's been a pleasure hanging out with you guys while I owned both the G35x, and the M45x. Very nice community of people here, who, most importantly, with a few exceptions, love cars in general, not just their own car, and have respect for cars from Infiniti, as well as those from other manufacturers (again, there are exceptions, but that is to be expected). That's a refreshing change from some of the forums I've belonged to in the past - in particular the BMW forums. For the most part, on those forums, you can complain as much as you want about your BMW, but if you don't drive a BMW, or if you say anything nice about any car from another manufacturer you get slammed, which is ridiculous, since no matter how nice BMW's are to drive (and they are, but they're defficient in other areas), that doesn't take away from some of the other excellent cars out there, and some of the amazing progress that manufacturers like Infiniti have made - let alone manufacturers like Hyundai/Kia, whom while not competing with Infiniti or BMW just yet, have moved from being crap mobiles 10 years ago to being on top of their respective vehicle categories in most of the categories they compete in whilst maintaining the lowest prices and best warranties in those categories. If I said that in the BMW forum, I'd be slammed with comments like 'Infiniti is just a dressed up Nissan (and what's wrong with Nissan by the way - they also make some pretty amazing cars - like the GTR), Hyunai is just crap, etc.', as opposed to 'ok, I prefer my BMW, but you're right that it is impressive what Infiniti has done in the last 5 or 6 years with the new G, the previous M, and now the new M, but I'll stick to my BMW for now'.
Cheers for now everyone. I'll come and hang out every now and then. Infiniti is still so far my favorite brand. In a separate posting, I'll write a long story about how I moved from being a BMW fanatic to becoming an Infiniti fan, and hating BMW dealers, and some of their cars.
