The best way to pass smog gentlemen is the legal way, you can pass smog by piggybacking a Standalone ECU and adjusting the 44 fuel, ignition and timing parameters. By doing just this and adding 17% MTBE fuel additive to total volume of fuel....

BTW: My cousin also used to have a smog shop that he used to hook people up with illegal smogs until his neighbor snitched him out and he got caught.....

If it's only smog then there is an EASY and PROVEN way of passing emmisions. I do this every year either in Mass or here in AZ. Simply run the car very low on gas and pour in 2 gallons of denatured alcohol available at either Ace Hardware or Home Depot. Then you can retard your timing a hair if you want to. But you can get away without the retard.

I installed a set of 42lb injectors had no cat and I was idling at 13.4:1 AFR and I got my car to pass. Alcohol doesn't burn off alot of hydrocarbons...so the sniffer gets fooled everytime.

so you just run it with denatured alchol and no extra fuel?or do you run it low put 2gallons of denatured alchol and then fill it up with fuel?

Thanks

Run it low, add 2 gallons of denatured alky, take test...pickup pass certificate, re-register car. In that order...lol.

My ride had absolutely no emissions equipment, no cats, no mufflers, no EGR, nothing..... and he passed it. Hazw8st is a legit and straight-up dude, he tuned the car via Standalone ECU on straight propane gas. I then drove the car about 20-25 minutes away, and passed with flying colors. Better yet, I will NEVER have to smog my turbo Skyline ever again. If you have any questions, hit hazw8st up.
