Even after reading this and knowing why it happened I've still had the windows down, or the trunk open 2 or 3 more times when I've gone out to the car in the morning - some how, some way I'm putting pressure on buttons. I have never had both the windows down and the trunk open though, but I'm sure it could happen.Opening windows To open the windows, push the door UNLOCK button on the Intelligent Key for about 3 seconds after the door is unlocked. To stop opening, release the UNLOCK button.Window cannot be closed using the Intelligent Key.The door windows can be opened or closed by turning the metal key in a door lock.
Opening trunk lid1. Push the TRUNK button q3 on the Intelligent Key for more than 1second.2. The trunk will unlatch.3. Raise the trunk lid to open the trunk.

For the past two days I parked at a client office building and happened to park within a couple of spots of another 07 g35x exact package as mine (pretty much totaly loaded) just black rather than slate blue. I came out for lunch both days and found all four windows down about 1/4 of the way and the truck unlocked... The first day I thought I must have hit something getting out of the car and not noticed. I put the windows up, closed the trunk and the rest of the day no problem. But today when I got out of the car I payed attention to everything and even check the windows and trunk, not that I needed to it was about 10 below zero so there was NO WAY I had a window open. I came out for lunch and the windows, all 4 of them were in exactly the same place as the day before, the trunk was unlocked again as well, I had a $5000 notebook in the trunk and it was still there so this is not the work of someone trying to steal the car or anything, could it be that it was affected by the inteligent key of the other g35? This has never happened before. Anyone have any ideas?
Could it be the bulge in you pants pressing against the FOB in your pocket?tmulligan879 wrote:I am a consultant and work in many different places on different days. The only time I've had this happen was when I had my key fob in my pocket and didn't realize the button was being pressed in by something else in the same pocket. To see if that is the issue pay a bit more attention to where the key fob is and what else is in the same pocket. If the occurrences stop then you know what caused it.Nolim8 wrote:Just this morning I came out to my car in my garage with all windows down 1/4 and the trunk open. This has been happening more frequently. Previously it was mostly the trunk. I am extremely concerned since I often keep a laptop in the trunk. If anyone has had this serviced please let me know.
