for those of you saying, they only belong on a zenki.

do you guys know that, these sideskirts came as an optional aero on both koukis and zenkis?

so theyre not really zenki sideskirts

IMO, the problem with S14 is that it is a little round. If it does not have side skirts, the bottom curve in. And both the zenki and kouki skirts hide this problem. But the zenki skirt complete hides where the body starts curving, where the kouki skirt only hides the bottom edge.

It does not stick out that much in real life. It is only the lighting that makes it looks like what it looks like. Plus, most aftermarket side skirt does the same thing anyways.

i dont think so..... navan aero was for zenkis.... k's aero was for koukis. the sides for the kouki were made when the koukis were.

Kouki skirts are too soft imo. Makes it look like it came off a Civic or something.

Zenki skirts are better and flow with the zenki or kouki rear valances.

I was talking to a towing guy on a Free AAA tow home a few months ago.He told me If any car has a body kit thats not OEM, AAA will not cover the tow! That night something clicked in my head; OEM AREO! After that night, I knew kouki skirts could pass as stock. Where the zenki skirts look more like a body kit.

Here is a old pic of my car (yeah the wheels suck but there gone now)

Here is SunnyS14's car (pics taken from SunnyS14's post on zilvia)

I can see where some of you guys are coming from on liking the kouki side skirts cause the skirt does not bolt onto the main body of the car while it does on the S14 zenki sides. I personally like the zenki sides overall but on certain cars like my car I like the kouki side skirts cause it is better than no side skirts and low profile. The thing that does bug me about them is like they flare up in the middle.

^^ my fav thing about the kouki skirts is how they have a design not just straight across. reminds me of the wrx jdm skirts which coincidently = the hotness.

except the fact that the Zenki ones are OEM too...kamikazestorm420 has the best aero set-up IMO. SE lip on USDM (Greddy lip looks super homosexual). Then the Zenki sides with rear valences. Doesnt get any better than that except the Origin stylish kit is sexy too. I dont get why people make these threads. Do they want their car to look good to other people, or look good to themselves? Try and please yourself and do what you think looks good, that is what will make your car original.

I prefer the stock kouki side skirts over the zenki ones in those pictures. There are some kits that have very nice side skirts, but you'll have to have a full kit to make everything match properly.

I saw kouki s14 sideskirts on a s13 hatch on here one time, looked pretty good actually.

I wonder what type X sideskirts would look on a s14

the the original gangster(OG), that is probably a plastic panel that is 3M'd on the door to match the sideskirts. I know our srt-4 has something similar to that, just a bit smaller. Custom? maybe, but it shouldn't be too hard to cut a flat piece of plastic and make it work.

Kouki sideskirts look sexy on zenkis, but I wouldn't mind owning those Javan sideskirts to complete my Javan front bumper aero

Um guys, Ings has been producing these door panels for years, they're one the only ones that make a specific door panel to match their side skirts. More manufactures need to produce these to help ease the lines across the side of the S14 when equipped with side skirts. But otherwise I prefer the way most After-market side skirts look because they are flat across the bottom unlike OEM side...
