wondering if anyone has ever thought about spray-painting their hub caps another color?

I was thinking of spraying them black, but not sure how it would turn out.

could someone photoship the rims black or something?

or if anyone has a pic please post it.

Here are the stock wheels without the hubcaps - I would go this route if you are wanting black. In my opinion, painting the hubcaps is not going to look good at all...

Trust me, leave them in silver, sooner or later u will regret painting them black, or even worse, taking them off (see above.. yuck). There's nothing wrong w/ hubcaps and if u really want to be different, i'd say save up a little to get someone's stock alloys. Gluck to ya whatever decision you make.

yea spray painting them will look cheap, and removing the hubcaps just looks gross. if u want rims u can probably find some cheap used ones, or someone who has the stock ones that will give them to u for low price

i spray painted mine last year for the winter. i have rims for the summer. but i wanted to stay black for the winter lol. i used high gloss high temp spray paint. when i sprayed them i did it in layers first couple of sprays i did it very lightly. then the last couple of sprays i did it closer and heavy. then the last spray i did it very close and very heavy. they came out great it looks like they got diped and not sprayed

heres some pics:

I was thinking of getting a second set of the hubs from a salvage junkyard and then using high heat paint as well. this way if they turn out bad, i'll just not put them on, or if I want to change back I can do that as well.

I was afraid they will look lame if I did it, but i definitely don't want to just take em off and look like I am riding on 4 doughnut spares.

dj figz that actually doesn't look too bad IMO. do you have a side view of it?

-1 on the no hub caps. That just looks so ugly and Honda like. Our cars have way more class that those cheap POS.

As far as painting them, do the multilayer aproach for now and save up for some rims. A junk/salvage yard set would be best so your not wasting as much money on them if they come out like crap.

I've seen cars with their hub caps spray painted, and it looks really tacky.
