I was originally gonna run a safcII on my car with the stock ecu and then decided I wanted to go to a jwt ecu or an enthalpy but after reading up on them I kinda wanted to go to a standalone system. Is the greddy e-manage considered a piggy back or is it similar to the aem ems? I can get one for about 300 bucks and I would spend wayyy more then that for a wideband, ecu and safc so I figured I would spend the extra money that it will take for a tune but I think it will be worth it in the end. If anyone can give me any output on the e-manage that would be great, especially if anyone has any experience with it.

e-manage is a piggy back, blue controls fuel, ultimate controls fuel and some timing. theres better options out there

If you want standalone go with AEM but those are expensive

If you go with Emanage go with the Ultimate. The basic is a rip off @ $300 and you will need to spend $130 on the Tuning kit which has the cable, CD, and english manual.

Stay away from SAFC, it doesnt control timing.

I mean I can get the ulitimate for about 300, its used but thats a pretty good price for it. Im not rich and my job pays like crap so I cant really afford the aem ems for 1500 and a tune for about another 1500. What would you guys recommend for tuning in my setup? I want to at least run a tuned ecu though. Like I said im not a big baller so money is somewhat of an issue.

[QUOTE=kpc_0721]and a tune for about another 1500.QUOTE]tune for 1500? hahaha... its cheaper than that, much cheaperif you go stand alone or piggypack, someone still has to tune it.if you cant tune and dont want to pay extra to buy something and then someone tune it, go with a chipped ECU, jwt(sucks) and enthalpy are pretty much the only known names that do this, and its 500 bucks.

Ok I hate to say this to you, and do this.

But I have been letting topics like this go by day by day, hoping that if someone answers the question, new people will come and just search.

So SEARCH. There is also a sticky in this forum up top that answers all your question on Emanage too.

On that note I am leaving this Topic open for all to discuss tuning options and nothing but tuning options. And Next thread I see asking about tuning options and who has used this and that will get locked.

On that note here is a link to our Sticky that has all the Emanage Info you could ever want plus more.

LOOK HERE FIRST GREAT INFO

s13fx is right first off. It kind of sucks that you see the same posts over and over, but i guess its just what happens. I mean you could have answered your questions and asked a smarter followup question just by searching E-manage.

If your want my opinion, for your goals a chipped ECU is perfect. You wont have to deal with tuning, and as long as you have your setup complete and you dont want up upgrade it for a while you will never regret it.

Im gonna be gettin a tune from AMS seeing as it is only about 5 minutes from my grandmas where most of the work will be done for the setup and its $225 an hour on a standalone and tuning will prolly take around 5 to 6 hours. Just wondering what all do you need to hook up a aem ems?
