Anyone ever install a CB RADIO?

What do you want a CB for? Are you a HAM radio guy or something? Usually they just need a switched/ fused power sources, a chassis ground, and an antenna. I have been trying to find a VHF scanner that operates on the frequencies from 109 MHZ to 140 MHZ that also operates on 12 volts and is smaller than a DIN chassis with RCA style audio outputs.

I have, I put one in a few years ago when my little brother and 4 of my friends went on a road trip around the midwest. I put one in the Altima, in a 3000GT VR4, and a Chevy Tahoe. There is much that you can learn from truckers. They are very interesting people.

Been having fun with it. Was on I-95 the other day talking to the truckers for about 30minutes. Having more fun out of the PA I have hooked up to it though.

CB radios are really a kick to use out on the interstate. Channel 19 all the way.

Yes I love using it so far. Havign the most fun with my PA though. Not on interstate much so can't talk to anyone. Love yellin at people over it. When going downtown I talk on it and everyone just looks around in circles.

I am looking fr the same scanner, if you know of a place i can get one, could you let me know aswell? Those frequency ranges cover those of cell phones and such, correct?
