A few days ago the J30 started running rough, like it was missing a cylinder. I'm thinking injector of course, then remembered I had a spare coil so I'd try that first.
While getting ready to start working, I familiarized myself with the coil connector by unplugging, then plugging back. Started up the car and it's running fine. OK, not unusual, it's done that briefly a couple of times in the past couple of days. Put in R and let it pull against itself. Still fine. Drove it up and down the street (easy and hard) and still running fine.
That's when I remembered this all started when I ran over the asphalt bump between the main road and my street. Could it be possible that the coil connector jarred just loose enough to not make a spark?
If this is the case, it's the stupidest fix of all time.
Anyone else ever have anything remotely similar??
