anyone ever do any custom interior stuff

im tryin to get an idea what i can do, i just picked up a stock 89 hatch for a grand with 90 thousand miles from this old dude and i was already thinking suede head liner and door cards. if anyone wants to post up some pictures or ideas thatd be awesome!

Yep, plenty of people that replace their door cards.There should be a DIY in the "How To" section of Nico, look at the top of the forums.

I did mine in leather though, I had to stitch up two pieces together because leather doesn't stretch enough.

i looked for a lil then i got lazy cause ive been up since 530 and now its almost 2 in the morning and i cant sleep, thanks tho! that leather door card looks nice with the red stitching. im about to hit up mamabear and ask her to do my door cars and headliner haha

Yeah, make your mom do it, the doorpanels can get a little frusterating.I did a write-up on reupholsering them, just search. I should add to that thread, I use that rubber stuff that holds screens in windows. It fits in the creace around the insert perfectly to hold the fabric in.

found it!^ that was very useful dude. i mean my mom always use to make my Halloween costumes like 15 years ago i dont see why she cant do a door card or two haha. im just trying to get some new ideas that not a lot of people have done
