Just like the title says..never heard of these guys before but they have some parts that I've been trying to source for quite awhile. I posted my WTB ad in the classifieds and they got back to me pretty quick, Was going to give them a shot but I was curious as to if anyone has dealt with them before and how the experience was?

Couldn't find their website. Only thing I found was their facebook page, and it only has 39 people who *like* them. I'm gonna go ahead and say to stear clear.

Yeah, all I could find was the facebook page as well. They messaged me via email about the WTB ad I posted. I'm skeptical at best right now.

Has anyone gotten an email reply from these guys that has posted in the WTB section? They have emailed me twice in the past 16 hours asking me if I want to buy the part. They said they take paypal, but with no one having heard of them this does seem fishy at best.

Alright, Detective work so far. I sent a reply email asking for the paypal address. They gave me "[email protected]" so, I took this address, plugged it into my paypal, and it told me the person's name associated with the account. "Donna Mask."

So I took the name "Donna Mask" and combined it with the keyword "Pearlz" and did a google search. Low and behold what comes up as the first link.

Judging from the description under it, This "donna mask" left a comment on the wall of "Pearlz Group" on October 2nd at 8:52 A.M. so I clicked the main link and went back to the date under the description...nothing, not there. everything else was, but that comment was a ghost.

so alright, lets dig a little deeper shall we? Luckily google keeps snapshots of a webpage through time. So, taking googles good ole time machine back into the earlier days of the internets, I found the comment left by this person asking if they "built cars"

Now, I find it very fishy that someone that operates the paypal account for this business would be posting on the wall of said business asking that. so my thoughts? :bs:

I hope the mods can alert people to be careful when dealing with these people, Luckily I found this so hopefully no members will fall victim to it.
