I had something almost identical to that made by a local clutch shop for half the price of that. It held up fine for 6K. Took it out after 6K when my trans decided to break 2nd and 4th. The clutch looked like hell. It had been through 4 drift days and numerous other abuse. I took it out because it would slip bad after a decent beating. It would come back to life after it cooled down. If you slip the clutch too much on a regular basis I don't see it lasting more than 20K. Slipping the clutch will heat it up very quickly and heat will destroy this clutch quicker.

My new clutch is made out of a Feramic product that incorporates graphite and cindered iron. The result is a friction material that offers the best friction coefficient, torque capacity, and smoothness of engagement all rolled into one, so I was told. I will see how long it will last. It is a $650 clutch that I was given to at less than half price due to the last clutch that didn't last so long. They said its the newest stuff on the market. I just needed a clutch by this weekend and couldn't wait for a ACT to be shipped to my house.
