On our local forum we've got a pretty good FAIL thread going. I would have to put the cancellation of the "S" chassis into this thread.

One of the guys said making it 15% lighter. That could be done by only doing the most basic of options. No power anything, no GPS (got it on my phone), no sunroof. And to be affordable in production, use primarily recycled metal. That would appeal to green fans and also cut production cost and improve profit.

The way auto manufacturers are these days, they're gonna throw in all the goodies in the different trims. Probably even throw in stock projectors with HID's, a Navi option, auto up/down windows, auto lights, airbags on every interior panel, optional bose stereo etc etc

Yeah, I don't think I'd buy a new 240 even if they did make one. It would probably be around 3300lbs with 250hp / underwhelming trq & so many redundant computer systems it'll drive you crazy.

I think I'll stick with the '90's era sports cars or early 2000's stuff. This new stuff is to complex for my simple tastes.
