LOL, that's not a ypipe at all, but, alrightHussain wrote:i raced one with my 3.5SE CVT altima coupe and i have exhaust and no 3rd cat so pretty much the Y-pipe everyone is talking about
if i had a coupe more stripes i would have bought the g but i bought the altima because i would rather buy that new than a used g35 for the same price.marlin29311 wrote:Money out of the picture - i would have bought a G37 hands down. No comparison. Interior takes it to a whole new level, the body lines are sleek, sexy, and sporty, the thing is a damn piece of art...
"if i had a coupe more stripes" what does this mean?mikegtr06 wrote:

Actually, since the G weighs in like a mini SUV, its really not that much faster... when I'm older, if I were older, and was done modding, I would have taken the G37 in a heartbeat.. no question about it... IDK, I think the G37 and A/C share a few of the same cues, like a mesh between the g35 and the G37... not getting into the handling (which is far superior in the G), and just going on sex appeal, I still give it to the G... IMO, the G looks good from every angle.. HOWEVER, I have never 100% liked the straight on side profile of the A/C... the G35 trunk and rear bumper was a straight line = sexy, the A/C trunk and bumer form like a 150 degree angle rather than a 180 degree angle.. takes away from it... howevr, if you turn the A/C ever so slightly towards or away from you, then its 100% sex again... something I always noticed...brizanden wrote:i mean no offense to you guys but you also are missing how much faster and better sounding it is then an altima coupe lol. (yes even the 3.5)
oooooooo can u post a pic of those wheels?? that sounds like a BRILLIANT idea!!!JBRO69 wrote:I actually had a $1000 deposit on a loaded G37 in August of 07 and fully intended on getting one. During the wait for delievery I tried out a fully loaded A/C and thought it was an awesome design and of high enough quality that I found it hard to justify the price differance. I shaved the emblems, tinted the windows and put 18" chrome Murano rims on my baby and it took it over to the Infiniti dealer to get my money back. His eyes popped out as he walked around the A/C and wondered aloud why Nissan was completeing against itself! I just took back the check and was satisfied that I made the right decision, and a year later I still am satisfied.
that's funny, most folks feel the rear is the best aspect of the A/C...Omega_Z wrote:A/C rear lights fail and to me throws the car off balance. The G37 flows beautifully.
The rear is the most unique part of the AC. The front is clearly altima (although u can see styling elements of other nissans including the G) the sides show 350Z and G styling - the rear had to be unique or else....Omega_Z wrote:A/C rear lights fail and to me throws the car off balance. well i couldn't find specific details until just the other day. all everyone talked about was how it took off the 3rd cat so i assumed it just pretty much took off the cat loladidas2go wrote:

Edit: Well that didn't work like I thought. How to I get pictures to show up in my post? Where is the post preview?
I fixed them, they're BIG pics. The problem was you were using the photobucket url of the page, not the actual url of the image (jpg). Right click, scroll down to properties, then highlight the url of the jpg, gif or bmp.JBRO69 wrote:?????????????????????????????????
Edit: So it now seems to be working. That's a good thing.
I agree, doesn't do the A/C justice IMOSentientbydesign wrote:I think those rims make the altima look kinda mustangish Probably the chrome and tall sidewalls.
