as you already know, when we hit the "START" button on our cars, the steering wheels moves down and the drivers seat moves forward. my question is that now everytime my steering wheel moves "DOWN" , the steering wheel squeaks as if it could use some WD-40 back there. anyone else have this problem?i went to Infinity's TSB website and couldn't find anything. has anyone heard or know someone that has the same problem?

My 2003 M45 does not do this squeak in the steering wheel, but seat has always squeaked a bit (even when new). I have been thinking of adding a bit of lithium grease to the track tohelp ...

But yours is a newer model right? You might want to have it checked under warranty (I assume it is still under warranty).

I have a 2007 M35 that's just started doing this. It just passed 30K miles and it seems that there are a lot of little things not quite right.

mine started to make a noise like metal/plastic was rubbing that shouldn't be rubbing. I researched this online doing a google search and found that other 06's had had the problem. I took mine into the dealer here and they readily agreed to replace the steering column. The service guy told me that there haven't been too many complaints about the m having this problem, but that they are getting quite a few complaints about the new ex's having the problem.i would get it fixed while you're still in warranty...
