Don't count on it. I work for discount tire co. and from personal experience from working at 4 locations correct tire pressure does not seem to be a big deal. Luckily I run the shop at my location and don't pull a car out until it has the correct tire preasure. When I have helped at other locations, 35psi is like the universal tire pressure. Not just from techs either, I have corrected assistant managers for saying "just put 35 in it". There is no real inforcement about correct tire pressure nor have I been to a meating where it was brought up.
I love my job, but not everyone takes pride in their work. In Texas everyone and their grandma drives a truck and most trucks take 35 psi and maybe that's why they are used to saying, "just put 35 in it". In my area I have built a reputation for being a stickler about tire pressure. I am ashamed to admit all this about DTC in my area, but it's something that I think needs to change for clients to have a higher quality of service. Most people are expecting everything to be right just as you did, but don't be scared to watch while they work on your vehicle. It used to bother me, but now I completely understand.
Sorry for typing so much, I just had to let it off my chest.
My point is you probably have to much air in your tires.
