on the dark slate 3.5 ( and probably others) the carbon fiber goes up to the coin and lighter adapter area then stops.

I think it would look great if the carbon fiber went all the way up the center to the vents, the window vents as well.

anyone done this? cheap/expensive?

Think i found the gold mine for this custom dash treasure hunt

http://www.wooddashexperts.com...=7913

you can choose the size of the kit ( made for the coupe) and a bunch of different wood/carbon fiber/metal styles.

yeah its pretty well done, and being in the merchant processing industry I can tell you their website is legit and secure.

I really like the look of brushed aluminum, i might go with that. The carbon fiber styles they have dont match whats on the 3.5 SE's

ball silly, wheres your head unit? The setup you have is ideally what I wanted to do but keeping the stock bose multi disc CD changer. I realized from talking to a few people that I basically cant have my cake and eat it to.

I'm thinking of fabricating a housing for a 7" screen under where that compartment area is. I'm wondering how easy it is to remove the little door to get at the raw space is.

Along those lines are there any documents that show how to remove parts from the car, like the front dash, console, etc?

I was going to yell at you and tell you to search, but I'm actually in a relatively good mood this morning

Dash and center console removalhttp://www.nicoclub.com/articles.php?id=294580

you can go to http://www.everythinnissan.com and get the center storage box here

http://www.trademotion.com/par...gid=2

You can get either the silver/carbon fiber look one that comes on the premium package vehcile, or you can get one that is black... but I would get the cheaper one since the best way to do this will probably be to remove the front door of the storage box and have a fiberglass enclosure made for your 7" monitor... this would be very simple for any custom shop...remember, if you purchase one,

w/out heated seats, w/out navigation = black storage boxw/ heated seats, w/out navigation = silver/carbon look storage box

when I set mine up, I simply used the housing that holds the bose 6 disc changer and placed had a portion cut out for my monitor like this
