I'm thinking of fabricating a housing for a 7" screen under where that compartment area is. I'm wondering how easy it is to remove the little door to get at the raw space is.
Along those lines are there any documents that show how to remove parts from the car, like the front dash, console, etc?
I was going to yell at you and tell you to search, but I'm actually in a relatively good mood this morning

You can get either the silver/carbon fiber look one that comes on the premium package vehcile, or you can get one that is black... but I would get the cheaper one since the best way to do this will probably be to remove the front door of the storage box and have a fiberglass enclosure made for your 7" monitor... this would be very simple for any custom shop...remember, if you purchase one,
w/out heated seats, w/out navigation = black storage boxw/ heated seats, w/out navigation = silver/carbon look storage box
when I set mine up, I simply used the housing that holds the bose 6 disc changer and placed had a portion cut out for my monitor like this
