What size belt is needed to connect the water pump directly to the main pulley? Everything else is gone save for my p/s pump which does no good other than act as a tensioner for my water pump belt.....

Any info?

It would help to know what kind of car you have. We might be able to help you then :)

I'm not sure anyone would have this info readily available. You may have to take some measurements and then try to find the best fit at the autoparts store.

wrap string around intended path, hold snug but not tight. take off string and measure. take measurement to parts store and get closest fit. actually get 3-4 around that size so you can have several on hand to try out.

Holy crap, basic common sense and logic solved a problem. Talk about things I don't often see on NICO............

when you say everything else is gone....is your alternator still there? how are you going to install/adjust this belt? water pump doesnt move nor does the crank pulley.

youll have to remove the crank pulley to slide it all on since you will have no way of adjusting tension.
