Since I have lowered my car, I am having trouble jacking it up to change the oil or rotate the tires, let alone get some jack stands under there on the lowest setting. Is the a certain place that may be better to lift from than the pinch welds? The jack pushes on the lower rocker panels when lifting. Is there any special jack to buy out there for lowered cars?

Maybe that is it. I am using a Heavy Duty Floor jack to lift it. I would rather not mess with those cheap "crank style" OEM jacks, but I may have to.

Yeah, I use the scissor jack to raise the car up a little, then stick the hydraulic jack underneath when there's just enough room.

I'm assuming this is your first lowered car.

When you lower your car, you need a race style jack with a very low start point.

I bought mine at Harbor Freight for $130. It's all aluminum. Lifts up to 3k lbs AND.............................................

Full height in just 6 pumps!!!!

On my I30, I had eibachs and I used to lift by the fender while someone else pushed my old jack under the car.

Also, Nissan was supposed to make jack adapters for our cars and never did.

Actually not my first lowered car. I had a lowered Civic Si but had no problem jacking it up. I was able to lift it from the front and rear and didn't have to worry about the side skirts. Thanks for the tip though!

I have no problems lifting mine up. I just put it in around the inside of the wheel well rather than trying to fit it under the rocker

Hmm. Didn't think about the side skirts.

Race jack should still clear them. I think mine has a start height of 3"

hmmm I use a 2 ton floor jack to lift mine up and it works just fine... sometimes I wish it was lower but then I remember I enjoy the smooth ride. LOL
