No! :frown:
Sad to see another coupe down. At least it seems like you're okay. What happened?

rear ended by a tow truck. worst part is it keep pushing me so i had to turn the wheel to avoid rear ending the car infront of me. it spun me around and caused the damage to the left corner...which the officer thought was caused by me cutting him off even though I had witnesses saying otherwise. $500 dollar deductable and $325 ticket later here I am

$325 ticket? WTF, talk about salt on wound...

The damage doesn't look any worse than the hit I took so it should be good as new hopefully in good time.
As for the ticket, what do you plan to do about it? That's mighty steep if that is based on the assumption that you cut the tow truck off...what an a$$. Any witness statements you could get or have?

Take them to court on the ticket. I would lawyer up. If the officer wrote you up for that ticket then your insurance company will balk and cite you for at-fault based on the officer's report. They could increase your premiums or whatnot, plus depending on if TX has a points-based system for your license.

Did I mention lawyer up? Yeah I would do that.

It was surely a kick in the jewels to say the least. lawyer up is my only option really. There was a witness who waited till AFTER the cop left to tell me he saw the whole thing. So unfortunately instead of it being a simple ordeal it has turned into something much bigger and annoying. I was shocked when the officer handed me a ticket for "lane change not in safety." Seriously baffled me.

I have USAA and they have already contacted the witness so I should be ok. The ticket is the next one I gotta tackle now.
And yes we have the point system here, which I already have plenty of due to the speed limits always being slower than I believe they should be

Sorry to hear that. Recently an old civic almost hit me on my side but lucky I made him miss by an inch or two. I need to thank my mom again :D

She's alive!! Everything turned out ok and I like having the red tail lights back, gives some contrast.

Anyways, I learned 3 things from this:
1. Truckers are blind ***holes.
2. Mondays suck.
3. USAA rules and will take care of you.

cheers
