Hey,

I've had my Versa SL hatchback now for about 2 months and I love it except for two minor problems:

1) There's a noise coming from the driver side door when I'm driving. It sounds like it's not 100% properly sealed because if I put pressure on the corner of the door with my elbow, the sound will stop. However, it comes back right away when I remove my elbow.

2) The A/C seems to make more noise than any other car I've had most noticably when it's turned on (which is ok) but the fact it's continuing has me a bit worried.

Has anyone else experienced these or similar problems? Thanks for your help!

1) some of the doors get dented by the robot that puts them on. This is usually an external dent. This sounds like an internal dent or a mis-fitment with the door panels. Have youhad it checked out?

2) The A/C compressor on the Versa is noisier than most other cars. If you get an actual grinding noise or something like tgat, you might want to take it in.

Is the a\c noise your are talking about coming from the engine bay or from inside the car.

The reason I ask is my #2 blower speed is definitly noiser than the other Versas I have drove for the dealer I drive for. I just crank up the radio a notch and forget about it.

If it is from under the hood it could be like mine. When the car is setting and not getting the normal flow of air through the radiator the electric fan\fans kick on to keep the coolant at a preset temp range and it\they or real noisy. Most cars now will automatically switch on the fan\fans when the a\c is turned on.

Hey,

I definitely plan to take it in for the door noise because like you said, it sounds like there's a slight mis-fitment issue on the door.

As for the A/C, I think the added noise it makes is coming from under the hood rather than inside the car. I'll make a mention of it at the dealer and I'll see if they can find something.

Thanks guys for your help! Cheers!

Did you get AC figured out? Reason I ask is my AC makes this lovely thunk-clonk sound when I turn it on.
