I finally found someone who will work on restoring my 200sx here in Norman, Oklahoma but it is so old Nissan said they didn't carry a gas tank for it. Does anyone know what I can do about getting one somewhere somehow?

hey I saw a few old 200sx at my local junkyard today I could pull a gas tank in good shape and ship it to you if you want.. That is if they have gastanks on them still..

the pull-a-part here in Nashville TN just got a 79 (i think) 200sx fastback, i can check it out for ya but I think they break the tanks there... if you need anything elese off of it let me know it's in pretty good shape but was wrecked in the nose...

hi, can't help you with the gas tank, but I just wanted to say I picked upa 1980 200sx fastback very recently and I'm looking for more info on whatupgrades can be done.

if you come up with any info you want to share, that would be awesome.by the way, got any pics of yours?

I had to send my fuel tank off to PA to (I think) Fuel Tank Renu. They cut it apart, gutted it, put a spray liner in and welded it back together. Cost almost $400 with shipping back and forth.Now I need AC stuff. Control levers, heat exchange and heat box. Hope I got that right. It is currently 108 degrees here in sunny Norman, Oklahoma, USA and I must have AC!! Otherwise, I have a very expensive lawn ornament! I am sending web sites/addresses to the shop that is working on my car. So if you know of any place that will pull the bits I need and send them to him please email me.

My mechanic is tired of having my car. (since Nov. 2005) He is sick of trying to find parts for it. He wants me to pay for it and take it away. If I pick it up I KNOW he will not take it back and finish the AC. Need the right parts right away. His boss, the owner, didn't want him to take my car on in the first place, but he took one look at me and saw dollars signs!! LOL ; )

Thanks for the offer to pull a tank for me but my mechanic said that they wouldn't be in any better shape than my own old one.

Inside and outside in rough shape right now. I had hoped to have enough money to get all of it done with me doing what I could myself with the interior but he is using ALL my alloted moneys for the repairs. So no pics to post (I don't want pity!! LOL).

I haven't worked on a car engine since I blew the head on my family's VW when I was a teenager (most of you guys weren't born yet, I'm guessin'!)
