Anyone Else Have a 04 Desert Platinum?

Hello All, Again I would like to thank all who have posted to this most informative forum. It was huge in my decision to purchase my 04 Desert Platinum. Moreover, Szhosain's recommended extended warranty purchase was certainly taken to heart. I ended up getting the Infiniti Elite extended warranty on top of the C.P.O warranty because of all the Technology Package Options (potential repair bill nightmares). On to the topic, sorry, are there any others out there who have the Desert Platinum? In reading many of the posts here, I have not heard of one.Cheers,Mark

I have never seen that color on an M. You should post a photo of it. I'm sure others would love to see it also.

Not quite sure if desert platinum was a one year deal for 04. I Currently have an 03 with golden sand which is similar but supposedly fainter in color. Both these colors aside from green are perhaps the rarest of 03-04 M45 colors. Of the 3 dealers here in So. Cal, not one have seen either. Case in point--We have rare cars with even rarer colors.

Hello All, the Elite extension cost about $600.00. The thing I love about it is that it is transferrable and good through late 2011. I think it was reduced since it was C.P.O. The car I found seemed to be the only C.P.O Y34 in the Country. Though I am sure many of the ones sitting at Infiniti dealers could be made C.P.O as well. I wil post pictures soon. The color seems really rare indeed. There were no listings on Autotrader or EBAY in my color. It seems almost greyish silver with a golden undercurrent. Kidding.Cheers,Mark
