Anyone else get back pains from the stock S13 seats? My brother in law gave me his and I find the lower lumbar support puts too much stress on my back.

Almost considering putting my racing seat back in, it looks dumb but its way more comfortable.

I know there is a thread to fix the seat by tearing out the spring, so no need to yell at me for searching

S13 seats are terrible. Well, chuki seats are horrible. Zenki seats aren't tooooo bad. S14 seats are mad comfy. Those or some Q45 seats would be perfect in a daily.

as soon as i saw the thread title i know you were talking about chuki seats. i took a 6 hour drive and my back was killing me with the s13 seat. im sure the solid motor mounts and coilovers diddnt help. i took an 8 hour trip with the s14 seat and it was alot better. drastic improvement.

My friend rolled his car and i was in it, so now my upper shoulder blade/upper back area hurts pretty often. Im still working out a lot trying to get it to be 100% better. The shocking pain is not happening as often so that is good!

However S13 seats are not the most comfortable thing on the planet but we have done a few good 7-9 hour drives no prob.

Just upgrade to something else or put a pillow behind your back.

Not a phone- that is an electronic translator- English to chair, Chair to English. He's telling the chair to stop tickling him with orange arrows.

WAAAAAAAAAA my 20 year old seats arent comfortable. WAAAA, little girls, if you dont like your old a** s13 seats then get new ones, simple as that. If you have back pains, either get a new car or get new seats, and deal with it. Thats like asking if you get a headache from you straight pipe exhaust. Ya its loud, there isnt any mufflers, if you dont like something, or if a part is causing you pain, then you dont have the heart needed to own and mofify a 20 yr old car. Simple as that.

blacksrjdm may be harsh in his deliveries, but he's usually right. these are old, worn out seats, they're not going to be comfy. after a 3 hour trip in my s14, my back was in discomfort, and my driver seat even has the lever for extra lumbar support. now my back is shot anyways, but i've spent more time in newer cars with no discomfort at all. i didn't come b****ing about it because it's something that comes with the territory of owning an older car.

Maybe a dumb question but do the cloth seats not have the lumber adjustment? My S13 has the leather seats which do have the adjustment on the side for the lumbar. I did drive it from K.C. Missouri to NorCal a couple of years ago. It wasa 34 hour trip in three days. Which yes my back was hurting a bit but I think pretty much any seat hurts with that much drive time. But then again my last car before that was 95 Sentra that had the worst seats ever.

Just wondering?

Ya, i cant really apologize for being a little bit obvious in my responces. It seems that when I post vague and helpful responces they tend to get beat down also. When I post harsher and helpful responces, then the person tends to understand that they are being petty or b****y little women. Grow some nuts, get a job, buy some r34 seats and a tampon, and soak up and sit comfortably.
