When you're on a budget and your DD/project needs something simple but you drove around anyway because you couldn't find that $35+ for new belts?

My belts have been squealing since I bought the car but just haven't had the money to replace them. Today I finally fixed them and it seems like the little things you appreciate more because now you car is a tad more smooth feeling.

I know the post is random but I'm sure theres someone out there that agrees with me

The Little things i DO appreciate, however a squealing belt, would of been fixed in the first 24hours of the purchase of the car lol.

I kinda get that feeling...my 1st "mod" i guess was finding a sunroof glass to replace one that wasn't there lol. I didn't have a job (still don't) so i had to save up my own money. Once i bought it and installed it on my own i felt pretty accomplished even if it's something little like that.

Well, it was a minor thing. I had to deal with all major crap first.

Things like that are the reason I don't drive the car until it is working properly.

The longer I have my car, the less I care for it.
