There great tires. I have a ton of friends with them. search on the z forms,srt4 forms and a bunch of others. There selling like hot cakes and it has pissed the american tire companies off so bad they have went to DC and are working on and extra tax to bring up the price. They can't compete. I bought a set for a friend off ebay for like 300 shipped this was for a 17 and had a high speed rating. still has them on i will talk to him today and see how he still feels about them.

Not sure on the US tires but this will be a hefty import tax on these tires. So buy asap if you can

Ok got some good feedback for ya. Talked to some friends,

(07)scion tc. He has put over 30k miles on them still loves them has tons of tread left and will look into buying another set when these go.

(03)350z has over 20k miles on them. he said he likes them when he was just bolt ons has plenty of tread left but after going to a TT setup he is looking for something more sticky. The tires have been awesome for what he paid for them and have held up.

(93) civic hatch has over 50k miles on them. This is his daily beater. Tires are lasting longer than he thought still have some tread left. He drives over 600 miles a week just for work all highway. He would buy again.

cheap a** korean tires the belts in them separate, which makes them shake prematurely and cannot be fixed with balancing.

plus they are heavy as hell

the only reason to run something like nexen is if you want tires that look like performance tires (but they're not), and for really cheap! Or if you're a "drifter" and traction is of zero value to you!

Quality tires are made in USA or Japan (examples Falken, Toyo, BFG, Dunlop, Sumitomo, Nitto, Yokohama, etc etc etc) You're NEVER gonna get a quality tire from places like Taiwan or Korea.

After talking to my friends and looking online, it seems they are pretty good performance tire. How much do know know about high powerd cars and tires? what have you owned? Only guy who b****ed about grip was the 350z owner but he has well over 450whp

Do some searching and you will find out that there a sister company of a big US company.

When nitto, falken and sumitomo 1st came out everyone knocked them as well

Yep I think so also .I really dont push my vehicles to much . Actually On All my other cars I drive Michelins. But being that the fronts were so good on this I didnt see spending $715.00 for four Michelins.... when I only needed two Nexen to match the fronts. at $198.00

Im not gonna make an internet flame war about racing in the pathfinder section (slowest section) of nico but yeah i know a little about racing. <<< Fastest FWD street car in San Diego (and maybe southern california) and i will back that up against anybody who wants some.

lets just say my crew laughs at 350z's

Back on subject, i have owned korean tires and they piss me off. Good for roasting burnouts and looking cool but not good for traction or even a smooth ride. Ive had too many korean tires that develop shakes and shimmies after a few thousand miles and are impossible to balance, maybe some of you are OK with a shaking steering wheel but not me.

Well I am hoping that -thats not the case HERE .. And if it is.... It only cost me $200.00 to find out ,,,,but I did do alot of research..... And the majority of what I have seen is positive.. But if I get the Shakes and the Shimmies and its not from News years Eve at least I will know to Think of what you said . And I' ll change em' . Now, I do wish that the front tires ... that were on this ... were Michelin Pilots ..But that was not the case. So I hope that these prove you wrong.. But,, I thank you for your heads up..Have a Happy New Year All...... The Panther

what is it and what does it run? No flame war just curious.

I dunno what your crew has but Erics 350z is no joke whp posted it on a street tune at 8psi. He has a stroked motor and is working on hitting 800 hp
