I never get laid in my dreams. I never have dreams where I become rich or successful. Its always something really, really dumb.

Last night I dreamed that I chipped a tooth that eventually fell out. For most people it might not be a big deal, but for me, someone obsessed with dental health, it was the equivalent of a nightmare. When I woke up I licked around my mouth checking to make sure everything was still in tact. In that same dream my dog needed hip surgery.

I also dream about arguing with people, which is the most frequent kind of dream I have.

WHY DO I EVEN BOTHER SLEEPING?

I might have a sexy dream with kissing and/or naked bodies, but never ever actual sex. I hate having those scary ones that you keep dreaming throughout life. This happened to me a little bit ago. I dreamed a scary dream that I remember as a kid having. Why cant I have repeated dreams that are nice and/or sexy!!

Dreams are wierd. I cant wait until we understand what they are and how they come about, and how to control them. Just curious, what medicines cause those really vivid and lifelike dreams, so you know, I can take them??

Take some SOMA relaxants and drink a bit you have some weird dreams. For dreams enter object or actions names to http://dreammoods.com/.As well as controlling dreams you gotta practice for it cause I sometimes tend to wild out knowing I'm dreaming. :ohno:

I have sex all the time LOL.One time though I had a dream that a guy cut his leg off and I dipped off and he was in my back seat.Another time cops shot people it went like this, "An Asian !!!Shoot him!!!*BANG*A Black guy shoot him!!!*BANG*A Hispanic shoot him!!!I ran and then *BANG BANG BANG* took one in the hand, leg, and one missed.Weird though.I even seen my car stripped in my dream but the most useless was dreaming about eating hella shrooms one time as I waited for my friend.Anther was popping hella ecstasy at a party and also one was about someone telling me someone was murdered in my room and that's why I have bad luck?!My brains wild. :inout:

I have and it takes a lot of practice. They say sometimes you'll be awake and can't tell the difference.I read once to write I am not dreaming on your hand as you practice so you don't confuse yourself.

My least favorite thing about dreaming is not having control.

I once dreamed that my brother died. I woke up, still thought it was real, and was like "oh well, he's dead" and didn't feel bothered by it :rotfl After about 5 minutes I realized it was just a dream.

My dreams usually have me end up in a foreign country buying stuff from street markets. Not a clue why.

Last night I dreamt that the b**** of a president of the IT club on campus sent a panic email to all the officers because ONE f*cking spambot registered and made a post. Woke up a few minutes ago and it turned out to not be a dream after all. Sent a not so nice reply.

I sometimes dream that I have insomnia. True story.

Try spending the whole night dreaming that you are unable to fall asleep and see how you feel the next day.

The girl has nightmares about losing teeth.

The other night I had an epic dream. I was in some sort of a cave. And it was filled with rather large rats (maybe 10-15 pounds each) and they were attacking an orangutan. I managed to fight them off by kicking them and throwing them. And then the orangutan gave birth and I saw it all up close and personal-like. Then I woke up.

Not too sure what any of that means...

The above makes sense. I'm less than a year from turning 30 and I'm eager/anxious about graduating and moving on.

I dream about wrecking cars pretty often (I tend to roll cars in my dreams, landing them on the roof and sliding hollywood like along the road). I also have occasional dreams about my old DeVille--usually something like the car has been in storage and I take it out and repair it. Back before Half Life 2 came out, I remember dreaming about playing it. When I woke up, I was SORELY disappointed that the game was not on store shelves yet. I've had X-com dreams, too.

Back when I was in high school, on stage crew, there was a drama chick I had the hots for. A couple weeks ago I had a broken-logic dream where I went back to high school just to take that class and see that girl again. The weird part is that aside from the dream I hadn't thought about that girl in a decade. I saw a couple of my old teachers and one of them was sorely disappointed in my failure to do anything meaningful with my life--he scowled one hell of a scowl at me. Partway through the dream my mind started realizing that the drama chick would have graduated by now, too, and thus the plan was completely broken. Then I woke up.

That crap happens to me a lot, actually. My mind figures out stuff doesn't make sense and I wake up. When I was younger I used to lucid-dream on a regular basis from the same triggers, but these days I tend to wake up rather than gaining control of the dream. I miss my lucid flying dreams. Haven't had one in a while.

I used to have dreams involving losing a tooth when I was younger. My boyfriend at the time told me in Chinese folklore it foreshadowed a death in the family.
Sometimes I have lucid dreams, usually in the first couple of hours before waking--but it's been a few months. Those are the dreams where I get to punch someone (sometimes someone I don't know) in the face!
Aaaand, because I work in retail, I've had quite a bunch of dreams involving me arguing with a stupid customer, or a customer coming in and flipping their s***. Lucid sexy dreams would be nice...generally I don't remember my dreams (sigh)

I read a theory somewhere that the cooraltation between dreams and deja vue, suggests that while you sleeping your brain is running down every scenario the vastness of your mind can come up with to try and safegaurd you against future events. Like studing for a test that might never happen, but just incase it does your mind has created a percieved "out".

The majority of my dreams are apocalyptic end of the world scenarios.

Last night my dream took place in the future, and it was about an alien invasion. The aliens turned out to be some sort of intergalactic boarder patrol. I guess we were charged with harboring space fugitives. Also there were some cool floating cities in it that were pretty awesome. My dreams are always really giant sized.

Lol the most entertaining dreams i've ever had was...

It all started with this house, I was in the kitchen and from there you could see the basement. Well the basement was lighted, etc... however, when I would get down there, it would go black, and the sun would quickly set. A demon feeling would go all across the room, and I would see the room start to breath. Wake up.

So one day I am dreaming and back in the house, this time all the tv's are fuzzy. I quickly realize that there is a stairway and a hallway leading up to another room in the house. Ok so, I start to venture up and around this hallway where the TV is also snowy, but soon comes into picture. At this time, I see another hallway with a door.

I enter the door, only to find a small room, with another door across it with a gleming cross on it. To my right is a mirror. When i look into the mirror i see a woman in an old 1800's outfit. Wake up.

Same night, i go back to sleep, re-enter the dream in the hallway, with the door. Ok so, I figured, hell might as well see whats up, it is just a dream. Which is weird because i've never dreamed that I was in a dreamed, and realized it was a dream. So i enter the room with the weird door. Bam, another room, to my left is a door, when you open the door there is a toilet, and tons of bathroom things. On the side of the door is a sink with a mirror. Look in the mirror, same woman. Wake up.

Back to sleep the third time, same house, same door, this time im in the room with the first mirror. I enter the next room with the toilet, a woman walks in. In the mirror i see the woman strangle this other woman. Wake up.

2 weeks later, i'm back in the house. Same house, same Tv's, same room with mirror and cross door, same entering aspect. This time the woman that was strangled is in the room. Wake up.

Now, the house with the breathing basement. I have literally, entered this house, atleast 10 times in my dreams. Sometimes I get them to come back, and I can see the house completely like it is sooooo real.

Other then that, I seldely dream, so.

I have lucid flying dreams all of the time. I used to have tons of nightmares of being chased. Right before whoever it was caught me, I would wake up, totally freaked out. At some point i began to fly right before the point of being caught. Now I fly whenever I want to.

What's been recurring for me the last few years is post-apocalyptic buildings. Huge skyscrapers full of ruin. Hundreds of floors. And I'm exploring every room, every floor, piecing together what happened like a noir mystery. Once in awhile, it becomes almost MC Escher-esque, stairs and floors upside down, etc. Sometimes there are people I interact with. Then it gets weird and incomprehensible.

The dreams that REALLY get to me are the ones that I can't tell if I'm awake or asleep. I normally only drink water, so it always happens if I end up drinking something with caffeine or sugar. Most of the time they are amazing.

As far as control I very rarely have it. The last dream I had I did realize that I was dreaming and I tried to do stuff. I was in a bedroom in my house when I realized it was a dream, so I thought I could put my hand behind my back and pull out a gun from nowhere like in the cartoons with a mallet. Even though I tied it about 3 times it never worked.

My dreams are usually scary now that I think about it. One of my biggest fears are Tidlewaves. I used to dream about that alllll the time as a kid and it F'd me up. I was in a public pool once on the child, 1 foot deep side, and one came up and tried to engulf me. I had a dream that I was a tidlewave once hahaha. That was a wierd vivid one. Imagine a giant wave with eyes, a nose, and mouth. The surroundings looked like Imaginationland like in that South Park episode.

Dude, seriously. Where is that clown from (also another fear). It looks really fimiliar but I cant think from what movie.

And too bad SOMA's are prescribed only. anything else??

That's crazy which reminds me of a weird dream I once had. Started by me going to sleep and dreaming about something then I woke up and opened my eyes. Next thing you know I'm going to sleep again and dreaming again and it repeats. Finally I really wake up and I get confused which I just go like WTF!?!!

IDK who has trippy dreams like me but I once had one where my mom had me get shot. She was like "no, shoot him" *BANG* with a double barrel shotty. :rotfl

I also have tons of the dreams where I wake up so annoyed and irratated because I lost a fight. In reality I was whooping him but my punches where fast and slowed down and tapped him slowly. I did this as hard I could and nothing then he has not marks on him and I either get whooped or wake up pissed off. LMAO. One time though I hit someone with a bat and OMFG it felt so good and I woke up with a smile on my face for the rest of the day. Usually they say it's stress or anger in your life and you tend to release it in the dream and I'm glad I did cause I got to hit somebody with a bat, a metal one too. :lolling:

I also do have plenty of Deja vu, like on the real I also sometimes feel like I'm in a dream but I know i'm in reality though in my dreams I tend to take control and spazz out. Do stuff I can't in real life, but only sometime cause other times it runs on it's own.

From the website link I posted this is what it says to dream about teeth, but again you gotta look up the action.

Teeth
To dream that you have rotten or decaying teeth, forewarns that your health and/or business is in jeopardy. You may have uttered some false or foul words and those words are coming back to haunt you.

To dream that your teeth is gleaming, signifies happiness and fulfilled wishes.

To dream that you are brushing your teeth, refers to your level of confidence, your struggles and your aggressiveness. You need to look out for yourself and your own interest. Perhaps, you feel that your position is shaky.

Oh! Anyone else feel pain in dreams? I seem to be the only one that I know. Not so much pleasure tho which sucks. But, one time I was getting shot up by a mafia guy with a Tommygun, but I wouldn't die. It hurt so bad. Pain happens regularly...
