So I'm holding off on my turbo install because I don't have the money right now for an install. My friends are trying to convince me to install it myself with the help of someone who's done it before or something. I'll be down in Florida for good starting the 15th of October, if anyone thinks they would wanna help and make a little cash on the side let me know, i would appreciate it.

-Chris

-I'll be in winter park (i believe just south of orlando) on university blvd.

What kind of kit are we talking about here? If you want to drive north of Orlando to DeLand 32720. We could do a saturday night teardown and a Sunday install.Hardest part is going to be the oil pan. I might be buying a wleder soon though so it will solve the problem.

Oh **** dude that would be so sweet. Let me know if you'd deffinately be down for this, I would appreciate the help so much, just warning you I don't know that much about installs, etc, etc. But like, if I got good help to tell me what to do when I can get it done. I'll put my setup on here in a few minutes. Give me a quick minute or two.

Hey I could care less who helps me out because honestly, I'm not that great with all this stuff. The more help the better. I'll be at Full Sail (which is pretty much down the street from UCF I think) for about 2.5 years or so. Below is the setup I'm running...

T3/T4 Turbo (XS Engineering)Front Mount IntercoolerExhaust ManifoldHKS Super Sequential Blow OffTial 38mm. WastegateApexi SAFC2370cc Fuel InjectorsWalbro Fuel PumpIntercooler Piping (all mandrel bent, needs to be cut to size)CouplersBattery Relocation KitBoost, Air / Fuel Gauges with pod5 bolt T3/T4 turbo flange

i need to inquire the following: oil feed lines, and a downpipe of some sort... no clue how the hell i could get a downpipe. any ideas?

might be missing a couple things, but i think i covered all the major ones. the more help the merrier!

IAP sells a DP. Just find out what kidn of bolt pattern is on the turbo. It should mount up. For fee dliens 240sx motoring has it for &$60. IN KA-t section under read her first is a list of part #'s so you can order it yourself..What about oil return? We could all show up and get it killed quicker. I could wire the SAFC as somoen else does fuel pump and injectors. While removing exhaust other can remove emissions.I got the trick for EGR only takes me a minute or two.(after an hr of fightign it I took a step back and slapped my self for being an idiot) Do you already have the parts?Or going to order.

i was also told any muffler shop could custom fab a downpipe for me for like 50 bucks. the only problem with that is getting the car to the shop with an open turbo. haha. so i might just order an IAP.

yeah I'm pretty sure you can get your downpipe done at any muffler shop. But it would pretty much be better if you just bought one before hand that way you can figure out all the bugs while at your garage or whatever.

But seriously let me know if you really want to do this because I'm looking for a similiar setup in my car. Is it an s13 or s14?

Oh yeah full sail is like 10 min away from my house

My friends would just be there to run back and forth to the store and bring me food. Reason why my kit so long to install was because they broke somehtign or I was missing parts.Which I had before they showed up.
