Ive seen them put on auto G35/Z... And they recommend that anything over say 400HP that you have it upgraded..... The turbo kit doesnt really know if you have a manual or auto...

The 5 speed auto seems like itsa pretty nice transmission... and holds up to a lot.

Hi Nick,Yes I have a 2004 G35 coupe AT with a JWT Twin turbo. pushing over 450 RWHP. I just suggest having your transmittion, valve body and torque converter upgraded before you do it or your transmission will start to slip quickly. To answer your question almost all turbo companies have kits for G35's most are not CARB legal. Griddy has a nice kit, just watch out as the put out a lot of torqe make sure you do the upgrade I suggested first. I would say to add a TT and the upgrades I mentioned will set you back about $15k easy. Good luck and just take one project at a time.

Sorry No I dont know anyone in your local area, however if you can get a local mechanic to take it out, you can ship it to STILLEN, and they will upgrade your valve body then ship it back. Other than that I suggest looking online there are a lot of different places that sell valve body upgrades, STILLEN, SFR, AAM to name a few.

As long as you're under 400HP you'll be fine. Stuff starts to break when you go higher.

OK,

I heard a lot of noise coming from a friends supercharger. It sounded like the bearings were bad or something. Maybe it's a mechanical thing... It's not the blow off noise either. Do the all superchargers make that noise? I know turbo's don't.

superchargers have this thing called "supercharger whine." It's like a high pitched noise that goes up in decibles as you accelerate. Does it sound like this?

Thats from a roots style s/c but the centrifical ones have a clackity type sound at idle. Some people have the idle raised to quiet the noise down. The ati s/c sounds like a jet when getting on it.
