Hey, I bought a 92 hatch with 5 lug already on it. The PO didn't really know much of anything about anything. He showed me a hand written receipt saying its s15 5 lug... Anyway, calipers on the front are off a Z. I changed the rear pads and 95 s14 SE pads worked no problem.

My main question is about the E-brake. The line is there and hooked up to the hubs on both sides, and hooked to the ebrake handle. The problem is there is so much slack in the line that it does absolutely nothing! If anyone can tell me what to look for to figure out what e brake and or parts that I need for a functioning e-brake, that would be very helpful. I can get pictures of anything that you guys would like to see.

Thanks a million!

Try adjusting the lines before buying parts I'd say.

I tried that a few days ago, still too much slack to work. Thanks for the reply though! Any other clues?

Thanks

Wait, you adjusted it fully and there is still too much slack? Are you sure you tightened it all the way? Pull it up 5-7 clicks then tighten until it's hard to pull. How would it run out of adjusting room? unless it's like, ridiculously stretched out...in that case a picture underneath may help?

I figured it out today while I was down there dropping my diff, the PO did not get any brackets for the ebrake. I need s14 parking brake brackets. The ones that bolt into the caliper and hold tension on the line.

Anyone have a clue where to get this part? Courtesy nissan was the cheapeset, but $26 a side plus shipping is to expensive for this little brackets. So if anyone knows where I can get one, I'd be grateful. Thanks again everyone.

I'd love to find them at my junkyard, sucks I don't drive a transmarobird though. My junk yards blow.
