Just wondering if any has had any experience or "heard" of anything. I'd rather be able to go to an importer and pick out my motorset, but all of that is a moot point if all the motorsets aren't worth buying.

They're the most local and reasonably distanced importer from me ( only about 30 mins away ).

They're near College Park, about 45 minutes south of Baltimore going down I-95.

I figure if I can pick my own motorset out, I'm already ahead of the game, no? That way I don't get any suprises that I can spot before I actually buy it.

And I also figure that since they're so close, i can drive down and ***** if something does come up. People tend to respond better when you're not a personality behind a phone or email.

Face to face is always a better way to do business. That is probably an hour + from me.. but if they have any kinda tuning facitliy / seem like good people to deal with lemme know.

I do know they don't have a "tuning facility" per se', but they do have some sort of in-house mechanics that is capable of doing swaps. Not really sure if they just lease out the space to him or if he actually works for them. I'm going to call them up within the week to inquire about a motorset. They have a webstie ( http://www.mmrauto.com ), but they don't list sr20det's, but I do know they have sold them in the past.

Just because they can get the motor, doesnt mean theyve done the swap before, meaning they might know little more than you do. Im getting my wiring done at Mid-Atlantic motorsports (if i cant do it myself) in Parkville (just outside baltimore). My SR20 ships tomorrow, and i should be in the process of putting it in in a couple weeks...feel free to come down and watch/carry **** if you want to.

Machine, that would be awesome. I'd love to stop by and sit in for a bit and watch. Dunno how much help I would be considering I don't know anything yet.

I grew up in Parkville, went to Parkville HS. Where the hell is Mid Atlantic MS? I've never seen their shop. Do they have experience with the sr20?

They used to be in middle river, by philedalphia road. They just moved a couple months ago, theyre about 2 blocks from hartford/joppa intersection, on hartford.

I dont think theyve ever shipped a sr20 or installed one, the owner knows a guy with a S13 coupe with a sr20, thats about it i think.

damn, where the hell were they a year ago. I grew up like a boogers flick from there. If you get your wiring done there ( and it works ) let me know how much they charged. It would be nice if they could wire up the A/C too.
