just my opinion, but if it's a rip-off or copy of the manufacturer's original design wether it's a body kit, rims, exhaust and so forth, then I cosider it kind of ricey, this applies more in some circumstances than others though. The difference in quality (especially body kits, the copies are usually made of cheap sprayed fiberglass, and usually don't fit that well) is almost night and day. And it's just the idea, like when everyone started putting blitz supra style body kits on their cars, and the skyline-style bumpers, these are all staples of the riceboy diet. Not calling anyone who owns these ricey, but just as a personal opinion, I'd rather keep the car's exterior stock than buy a cheap body kit.

for example, I just saw a set of knock-off c-west vented headlight covers for the s13 on ebay, the headlight is supposed to suck in cooler air from outside. But there was a pair of them, one for passenger and driver's side, BOTH VENTED. even though the intake is on the driver's side, I guess they figured that twice the vents=twice the air.
