First, I'm a n00b so I'll admit my stupidty right now. :D

I've been checking out the forum for awhile and I'm 90% sure I'm going to do this swap. I've never done it before and I was wondering if anyone in PA, NY, NJ or surrounding states has. I'm not going to be able to do this myself and I'd like to take it to a shop that has experience in it. I dont have the tools or the time but I'll have the cash by then to foot the bill. :ylsuper

Anyway, I'll try and search as much as I can and keep the stupid n00b questions to a minimum. At any rate, I hope I learn alot. It seems this swap has alot of potential. I was going to just buy an f-body but it's easy to make them fast. I'm down with being differerent.

Cool, thanks man.

I sent an email to both of them. We'll see what happens from here.

Locate some auctions as I have if you want a 240 for relatively low price. My 97 SE cost me 3800, 4300 shipped--even though I had to attend the auction, it was well worth it. Then on the otherhand, you can go check out the classifieds for those overbearing prices  .

Nice. Alot of Philly guys in the house I see. Takes me about 1:45 to get there on the turnpike. My cousin used to live in Bensalem as a matter of fact.

Anybody want to help me to the swap? I'll buy pizza and beer. I also have a garage at my house up here in W-B. :D

I haven't done the swap, but I'll help. Wilkes-Barre is like 1:30 from me. I used to go out there for shows and stuff. Interesting place.

I haven't done the swap, but pulling a motor is pulling a motor, bolting the SR in is as easy as bolting another KA in, its all the plumbing and wiring that I can't really help too much with...but I'd be glad to head out there for a day and chill and drink beer, and work on a car. Just not in the winter.

"Interesting place" lol! You're not kidding man. This area is so wacked I cant believe it hasnt been sucked up into a black hole of ****tyness a long time ago.

Anyway, sounds good. Whenever I get the car and the engine I'll definetly hit ya up. We just need someone to help with the wiring because I suck in that department as well.

Oh yeah, I got a bunch of tools also, everything needed to take an engine out. (Pulled my friends blown CRX motor in the middle of winter....very cold, chapped bleeding hands, half frozen beer, not fun)

Beer slushies suck no doubt. My garage is heated so it wouldnt be an issue anyway. ;)

I'm glad you have the tools because my stuff is pretty much limited to socket sets and a hammer. :help
