Hi all,

I fell in love with altima coupe 3.5 but I'm not sure I'll fit (i'm 6'4"). I'm afraid I'll ignore all details (headroom and such) during my test drive, buy it anyway and then regret it after the cool-off period. Can any tall drivers share their experience wit a/c?

Thanks!

You should fit fine. The driver's seat has all kinds of adjustments for height up and down. I'm almost 6 foot and have the seat actually lifted a bit for height. My father is over 6 feet and can drive the car perfectly fine and he's never complained about headroom.

I would suggest you sit in one at the dealership and lpay with the seat adjustments. You should be fine... BUY IT NOW. lol.

there's someone on the forums that's really tall, like 6'7 or something. i want to say Phenom... but i'm not sure, for some reason i think it's him. but he says it's fine, just has the seat adjusted all the way back. just make sure that during the test drive you didn't feel cramped, and as long as you're never sitting in the backseat it should be no problem-o

I'm 6'5" and i have plenty of room, the only problem i find is that i have to scoot up if some one is to sit behind me, but being a coupe you shouldn't buy it if you need the room.

Exactly. Same way here, but I only put chicks in the back seat and they're small. That's how I roll...

I'm 6'4" and fit just fine. Although I've only found one seat position that I'm comfortable in, which is annoying to try and find after someone (aka dealer) mucks with it. I'm sure you'll be just fine though.

As for people riding in the back seat, I've had mine for over 6 months, and can only think of one time I had someone riding directly behind me. I don't have as much of a leg room problem as head clearance, so scutching up a few inches is no big deal.

I would seuguest that you test drive. I'm 6" 1 1/2' and it i were a basebal cap it does hit the roof. So I would love it if this car had a 1/2 an inch more head room. but that is just my openion. there is plonty of leg room, that shouldn't be a problem! Good luck, its a grate car, and alot of fun to drive!

I'm 6'4 and my head sticks through the roof. I have to recline it and raise the headrest a lot that it usually falls off.

As for rear seats ... 0

It depends whether or not you get the sunroof. I'm 6'3" and there's only one position that I've found where my head isn't rubbing the roof (I've got the sunroof). I hate it when someone else gets in there and futzes up my settings...it takes me a half hour trying to get back into that one, single comfortable position! As for legroom, it's one of the best cars I've driven!

I have a friend that is 6'4" but he's also 300 lbs and he has to recline the seat back and down to it's furthest and his head still hits the roof but at that point he is ok. I hate to say this but the Accord Coupe has more room inside it, at least from when I sat inside of it.

No moonroof though? It seems that the moonroof is not an option (in Canda at least) anymore.

I still have a problem picturing you in an a/c but if you fit I'll most definitely fit as well. Do you bump your head, having problems getting in and out?

my rule in my car is:

drivers seat...NEVER moves...which sucks for whoever..most of the time no one sits behind me.front pass seat...well whoever is sittin in that seat can make the choice whether or not they want to move up their seat to let someone sit behind them.

i try to keep it 2 people in the car...me and the pass

I have a bro-in-law who is 6'8''/ 270 and I don't think he would fit...comfortably at least...but, Phenom says it, it MUST be true

I am 6'4'' and don't have much of a problem, but I am all legs (37 inch inseam)...I share the car with my wife so we are ALWAYS moving the seat, but it isn't hard for me to find the place...I just drop it as low as it goes and as far back. Luckily...the place where she found that fits her good, we don't have to move the mirrors ever! So, we just move the seat.

I drove a Civic back to my Parents this weekend and appreciate our car SOOOO much more! There is a TON of leg room and easy places to put your knees in the coupe. (Not to mention the push button entry and push button trunk!)

To the other point: The moon roof does steal about 2 inches I would say...and I have had some hair brushing...but nothing major.

Buy buy buy!

I'm 6'3" - but my issue is I have a longer upper torso than most people. Any car I have really driven that is a coupe that has a sunroof is at times uncomfortable.

I have to have my seat in such a way that the sunroof is over my head - so it gives me just that little bit extra head room.

BF is 6'3", more torso than legs I would say, no problems after getting the seat all the way down and back and leaning it for comfort. He's got about 1.5 inches of room and that's with a sunroof.

Phenom is definitely the tallest guy I've seen fit into a coupe.
