anybody wash their car at night??

i've been wondering, anyone here pull their car out on driveway at like 8-9pm at night and start washing it?? or is it just me?

all my neighbor walk by look at me like

hope i am not the only one, but sun is not fully set so i still get some sun light

My brother will do that if he's bored at like 1 or 2 in the morning. I don't because it doesn't dry correctly since its too cool.

Well you see at night, there tends to be a lack of light... therefore I'm not able to pay attention to the small details hence the quality of my wash is not that good...

But hey if doing a nocturnal wash floats your boat, then by all means keep doing it...

I think you are okay. Once upon a time, I used to go grocery shopping at 12 am on Weekends at Sprawlmart (Walmart). The lines are less, and the most unruly and uncoordinated nocturnal loosers in our society find that time of the night convenient for thier own shopping as well. I have seen ladies almost half naked shopping at time of the night on Weekends at walmart.

So, in a localized region of freaks, I look odd (at Walmart) at that time of the night. And I get this look from them. Almost like I committed a crime since i don't share the same countenance and body language. So, i think you are okay. Keep washng that car, and make sure you spiff it up. Remember, your G-35 if it is a coupe, is a magnet for jealousy.

I do but usually between 7-8pm so I can get the last bit of sunlight here in the west coast. By 9, I'm usually done with the interior. I only wash at this time when I have no other time to wash the car. What I hate is waking up the following morning and the entire car is wet and the windows fogged because I left the car outside

During the summer here in AZ, I do.

It's near impossible to wash a car outside when it's 115 degrees with 6% humidity... The car dries before you get one panel washed.

Also, the water here is pretty hard, so it leaves spots.

I washed my car sat night at like 7, clayed and waxed

just use microfiber towels for drying...they are magic

Have done it a few times! But, not lately.I've had a car so nasty that I washed it in the rain...

I have washed in the rain like 2-3 times and my family thinks i'm nuts! I also wash at night as it isn't so damn hot! I have a really well lit garage so I can see everything better than in sun light as there isn't a glare!

I love doing this as i don't have to sweat and it is nice an cool at night!

Haha, when I used to have a truck I would go mudding with it quite a few times during the spring. When I did, I would just wait for the next day it rained and got all the mud off then.

Yeah, but dont you have to worry about being swallowed by mosqitos!..And by the way i finally got out and polished and waxed tha G this weekend....and after i was finished i looked at that shine and said buick my asssss!!!!!!!!!!....lol

I wash my car all the time at night! Best time to do i feel - the heat isn't as bad (you don't sweat as much / the car doesn't dry as fast). Plus it's the only real time I do get to wash my car :-\

I just use this squeegy thing that I bought a long time ago to dry the car - you basically throw all the water off the car - it's amazing! http://www.amazon.com/Original...r=1-1

Then i just use microfiber towels to get the rest of the water off...its perfect!
