Going to be putting in my clutch this weekend. I've never done anything with the transmission before and don't know anybody in the area to help wiggle the thing back in. I have a jack, 4 jackstands, metric and standard sockets (extra set wouldn't hurt to make things faster) and a torque wrench. Only thing I'm not sure about is if I need any kind of grease for the bearings, everything else I have. I'll supply food and drinks. Thanks guys.

aim: evildeadkiwiLive in N. Aurora, just west of chicago and right off of I-88.

Well got the transmission off finally. Been taking pictures as I go along, not so much because a clutch swap guide is needed but just because I want to get into the habit of making them. Nothing major other than a few stripped nuts that I'll need to replace, had to cut one bolt off. Other big issue was my lack of people skills catching up with me and having to do this on my own. Probably wouldn't be an problem if I didn't suck at working on cars. Atleast I don't break as many tools as jesda.

Tomorrow: put on the new stuff and attempt to put transmission back on

Later in week: get new bolts on and break in clutch for the autocross on saturday.
