I suspect you'll be making a carpet cargo mat, rather than using the chintzy plastic one from Infiniti.

Rather than pay $400.00 from Infiniti U.K., I'll make my own.

Have the carpet and rubber nib backing. Will cut to match the shape ofthe rubber one that came with the car. Glue the backing to the carpet andthen stitch around the perimeter like the floor mats.

It will look like the EX37 boot mat.

If you cover the "boot" floor it will severely muffle the subwoofer (if you have Bose)

I actually heel my trunk floor lid thing slightly cracked with a wedge i made to allow more air to the subs thus more bass...

just my opinion

Makes a HUGE difference though
