i've got a set of very clean turbine-style wheels that i was about to put on ebay, but thought i'd try here first. i'll entertain any reasonable offer, and i figure i can probably ship them for 40 bucks total by ups. email [email protected] and i can send you a pic.

edited 'pie pan' to 'turbine style'

ah shoot, as highway q45 has just pointed out, i should say these are the 'tubine' style wheels that came with the standard early q, not the touring edition wheels (i'm keeping those!)

Shipping sounds about right... I sent Wes's chrome pie pans by DHL for about $37 total if I remember correctly. They were substantially cheaper than UPS and they boxes in two days!

I had to do a little dumpster diving at the local wheel shop for the boxes, but that was the worst part of it! Luckily the boxes were on top of an almost full dumpster, so I didn't have much troule finding what I needed.

jesda-they're the same wheels that are on your car in your picture--did you want a pic to see what condition they were in or to clarify which wheels we're talking about? if the former, let me know and i'll send one. -randy

I thought the turbine wheels were the ones that were standard on the 1995-1996 and actually look like a turbine fan blade.

correct, and oh what fun to clean inbetween the "blades"of these wheels! no matter how spotless you get all crevices,by the next rain, brake dust and grime requires more time to hose & brush than washing the entire car,I really would like to replace them for this reason alone, even though they look decent when clean.
