(Pronounced Hohoba). If you don't know what it is, it's a bean oil similar to vegetable oil, but much more pure. It's been said that it's so fine, that it can actually absorb into metal to a certain degree, and lubricate like no other. I know a guy that puts probably 2 oz. of this stuff with every oil change and uses it to lube up all moving parts on his car. It's expensive though, a couple of ounces is just under 10 bucks.

My question is, has anybody else had experience with this stuff? What do you know about it, and is it safe to use on automotive parts? I'm just wondering about heat, and how the oil reacts at really high temperatures? Let me know what you guys have heard, thanks!

Sounds like some Sedona-baked mumbo-jumbo to me, but I've never heard of such a thing.

Haha, nah, it's actually a guy I work with, his dad has a huge as farm down in the phoenix area. Sedona peeps do get a little on the 'odd' side though.

Yeah, it's all good. I'm surprised nobody has heard of this stuff. I thought it was a somewhat well known oil.

We're over a century into cars, and nearly two for big, gnarly, whizzy machines that have parts rubbing. While synthetics are making inroads, and additive packages for conventional oils are continually progressing, miracle plant oils are pretty much non-existent. IC engines run at much higher temperatures than most lubricants can handle, unless they're formulated specifically for it.
