I searched this forum a lot and did not come across this. I was wondering if anyone has swapped an rb26 n1 into a 240? I was wondering if it had been done before and haven't had luck finding a swap. Thanks.

Simple Answer: No.The N1 motors are _incredibly_ rare.

Yep, it's Geoff with the N1 in his R34. He's a ridiculously nice guy.

I met him at Safeway up where I used to live in north Scottsdale. His car is PIIIIIIIMMMMPPPP. It was built from the shell all with N1 bits and crazy performance pieces. Registered as a kit-car, of course.

This may be a stupid question but what makes a N1 engine any different then a normal 26?

block casting, cam shafts, turbos, exhaust manifolds, minor things.

All in all, not worth the penny if compared to what can be achieved with the same amount of money with aftermarket parts installed on a non-N1 RB26.

in addition... the n1 differed between production years as well. mainly the turbos.

That can be said with almost any special edition factory/oem car/modification.

I was about to get my hands on one. The nissan dealer i go through had one waiting in the back for me. Unfortunately the recession hit and the bank shut them down... A lot of super rare nissan/nismo parts are now lost in this craphole of an economy...

well if the only thing diff is internals, and you know so much of what your talking about. The sensors and wiring should be the same. and a 240 is considered a s chassis hense S13 or S14 or S15. And YEAH a rb26 has obviously been swapped into a s chassis. so

OP= dumb question.

Both Carl and myself have put a fair amount of stuff into the search for people like this guy and probably yourself to find.

Hah I never said anything about wanting to swap it. I am simply curious if anyone has swapped it and was going to see what their specs where. Therefore you are surmising i wanted to swap it making you look like a retard. It was a simple question that i asked after much research on this site along with many others. Have a wonderful day.

"I searched this forum a lot and did not come across this. I was wondering if anyone has swapped an rb26 n1 into a 240? I was wondering if it had been done before and haven't had luck finding a swap. Thanks. "

are you on crack cocaine, or do you actually have some kind of disorder???
