Oh yeah? Well one time Rob Leatham laughed at me when I shot trap at the 1996 Chevy Truck Sportsmans Team Challenge in Ft. Lauderdale. I felt honored. Oh yeah, I was shooting a camo Remington 870.HashiriyaS14 wrote:Didn't help that I was shooting with my best friend, Keith Vess, who at the time, was probably one of the 100 best shooters in the country. What's the drop on a .22LR like out at that distance? 60-70 inches? That's 5 feet! You're aiming a good deer above the deer! I don't even want to think about wind drift, the energy it's carry out that far, or the odds of crippling a deer. There's a good reason it's illegal to use rimfires on deer here in Florida. You're full of it.Nick240sx wrote:yeah i skeet into some traps nightly. sorry i had to do it. im a marksman with a .22 and a scope, ive hit deer square in the head from 350-400 yards. i havent tried any further out.
