I was just cruising around Drift Factory and noticed these pullies, funny how they include everything but the crank. Anybody bought these or heard of these? Would they even make a difference?

Unless they're underdrive pulleys, or significanly lighter than stock then they'll do nothin' for ya.

Yea, they're mostly for the "bling" factor. I've strongly considered having a serpentine style setup make that replaces the crank, water, alt, and p/s pump pullys with one belt. I'd have it CNC's out of aluminum and have it underdrive. It would prob cost me an arm and a leg though, but tempting simply because I have friends that could do it.

I am willing for you to make the sacrifice. I just had to tighten my alternator belt again! Does anybody else have recurring belt slippage?

It's good to know I've got a friend TMS. Any guy that's willing to risk another guys arm and leg is a gentelman and a scholar!

I do I do. My alternator belt squeals all the damn time. I keep tightening it and eventually it will start to squeal again.

This is what I would like to see somebody start making for us. I should ask this guy how much it would cost to reproduce his setup.

with the serpentine setup, unles you modified the wa the alt. mounted, you'd still have it loosening and slipping and now all your belts would slip :D

Yea, he's got a custom made ITB setup as well. it's pretty trick. I had considered going with the EXACT same intercooler setup, but decided I didn't want to have to deal with a water-to-air setup (extra radiator, pump, fan, etc.)

It is a guy here in Germany. From what I can read (my german isn't that good yet) but he works in a pretty high tech metal shop where he has been custom making his own stuff even flow testing his mani. He has the digital read outs up on the net which is pretty interesting. Of course all his stuff is "one of" type stuff but his work is pretty trick if you ask me. I posted some of his pics already in the "200sx CA's galore" thread. Check it out as I usually try and post updates to any CA I find over here on that thread.

Ask and you shall receive

That is his water pump pulley. The stock one weighs 41.

He needs to spit out a few sets of pulleys to sell. I think those things have me aroused

I can ask him if a few people would be interested. Enough to make it worth his time you know. i don't think it would be easy for him to make sets for the Germans as it would have to be TUV approved but for us it shouldn't be a problem (only if he wants to share his work).
