Hey im trying to get my car put back together and i don't want to dump 1300 alone into a turbo. But I want a T3 flange turbo so i have the option of switching later to a Gt30 I seen this kit and its not the spendy and was just wondering if anybody has ran it or know anybody that has ran it. Just wondering what numbers they got from it and when boost comes on. If anybody has this kit it would be helpful so let me know.. Thx!

And of coarse i searched and didn't come up with anything..

Enjuku used to run it on there drift cars. So it cant be too bad. They later found that a tubular manifold gave them a **** load more power which i think they use a Peakboost kit now.

Try Fresh Alloy for people who have ran the kit. Mostly everyone shys away from it now because of the Log Manifold is too restrictive. Alchemy make a top mount manifold for $450. Far better alternative in manifold IMO.

true.. I could probabl switch to a tubular there not that much more expensive i could also get one from that guy randy who builds the one like full race that everybody talks about. I've talked to him once already so. Fresh alloy? not familiar with that.. Anybody else on here know anything about this kit. Or maybe just the turbo in general like what wheel trim and stuff to run i believe there are diff option and diff stage numbers. Im looking for close to 400 or a little over with boost coming on not to late in the rpm band so what stage wheel and compresser a/r and turbine a/r should i set up. Please let me know..thx

A proper sized t3/t4 (50 trim) especially ones by Presicion Turbos will out perform a gt2871 (.86) on most days. The spool up time will be similar if not faster and the top end will be by far superior. But you do need alot of custom parts to go this route. An Sc34 will hit around 22+ psi by 3.5 - 4k and is good for 500+whp

Well this kit comes with everything needed except the support upgrades like injectors.. Comes with a 38 tial log manifold wg dump pipe turbo elbo to downpipe and stuff which the elbos need to connect you exhaust to it are what is usually in need of fabricating.. The only upgrade i would do later is buying a equal length tubular mani. The only thing i worry bout when the time comes for that is the new manifold move the turbo foward or back making the elbo not line up with my downpipe anymore. Thx for the info when the time comes to buy this kit i have many options. It sounds like i should go with the 50 trim. I believe it comes with a stage 3 wheel.. whats the difference between the stage 3 and 5? I don't know much bout anything but garrets gt series.. All this help is greatly appreciated..

Read up on there different turbos there. Stick with a 50 trim. But choose the right size for your needs.

you can get the kit but everything in that kit is designed to work with the turbo placement on the log manifold. when you upgrade to a tubular one, the turbo placement will change along with your downpipe, wastegate dump, and IC piping. All minor stuff but its still more money you have to spend later when you could save now and do it right the first time.
