i need to replace the bulbs behind the message window area in the instrument panel. was looking through the service manual--it looks straightforward--ish to remove the cover and panel, anything else i should be worried about? i don't actually need to remove the steering wheel or anything else do i? thanks. randy

No, You don't remove the steering wheel, however, you will want to loosen the bolts for the steering column brackets to further lower the steering wheel.... that provides more clearance. I think you will also need to remove the ignition housing. (It's been a while)...

You dont have to remove the steeringwheel cladding but it might make it a little easier.. I hate taking apart the dash!
