Anybody pulled the gauge cluster?

I might try pulling mine out tomorrow to take a peak at some things behind there. Been wanting to run my Radar LED lights to a spot in the actual gauge cluster. Probably wont due the radar tomorrow, but wouldnt mind pulling it apart to see if its possible.

If you have pulled it, how bad was it? I do mobile install for a living, but figured Id asked before I jumped into it just to look.

If you pull it out, you should check if it would be easy to change the illumination color.

That's exactly what Jemdawg took it apart to do. Turns out the illumination is provided by small, integrated LEDs. From what he was saying, trying to swap them out would be futile.

someone should definately chime in on this who knows how. im gonna pull mine soon to replace a couple things and what not. i looked at it last night and have absolutely no idea how it comes out... i dont wanna jsut pull on **** and end up breakin stuff

last time i pulled a dash out was in my truck... ended up breaking the Trip reset knob... just to put a L.E.D strip behind the glass...
