the turbine rev sensor (P1716) is located inside the gearbox or not???????

In the RE4 it is located at the top of the turbine (torque converter) necessitating a drop when replacing.

Why not download an FSM and take a look?

Check with your Infiniti dealer as there was a P1716 TSB for G35/2002Q? [same transmission] back in 2003.

The newer ones are but the 2002-2003 were different with an external TCU.

Have no way of knowing on Japanese models? Hong Kong Rightside drive I assume?

i read the FSMbut no idea from the cirsuit diagram

my car is in the dealer nowbut i dont't think i'll have the repair at thereas the repairing cost at there will be extremely high
