Anybody know where I can buy A6 (4x6) Clear Envelopes locally?

I've tried Office Max, Office Depot, Staples, and a few holes in the wall. Nobody has them. I also tried Ebay and then sorted by distance, but the closest one was like 30 miles away.

I basically just need a couple dozen clear poly envelopes. I'm in Riverside right now and will be driving back to Irvine tonight.

I used to work at xpedx (this was our retail division), not sure if they have them in stock but they can access one of their distribution centers and get em in a day or so.

just a fyi, the a-6 size is 4 3/4 x 6 1/2.

another quick note, the paper name of the product you would ask for would be Gilclear, Canson Satin, and Neenah Paper has one too I forget what its called.

The envelopes will tear easily, I would not recommend mailing them. The paper is very dry and when the envelopes are scored the paper becomes very brittle and will tear or crack.

Thanks for the info. They don't necessarily have to be envelopes, they can be the poly bags with the self adhesive flap or even zip-loc if the post office will take it. I just need to protect the canvas postcards I made.

I def would not use the clear paper envelopes then. lots of times the get torn running through a postal machine and then the product piece is lost.

For something proctective, I would suggest tyvek, or paper tiger. They are both tear proof (however not clear)

they could put a poly window on the paper tiger envelope, but that will get expensive and the min run would pry be around 5-10k pieces. Paper Tiger is a piece of poly material with 2 sides of paper compressed together, the advantage being you can print on it. Tyvek envelopes require oxidizing inks and incredible amounts of drying time.

Another option you could use, would be a chipboard or 12pt cover paper envelope.

almost forgot , one last place to try would be Uline.

Uline has a lot of protective types of products, call them and tell them what you want to do and I'm sure they could come up with a solution, I hear they have great customer service reps.
