There is a distance limit, that your taillights need to be visable from, so find out what that distance is. I think its 200ft or so, but it will vary state to state

Isn't the smoke thing (headlight covers circa,1994) a little out of date! lol don't mean to disrespect but keep it clean man. My approach is keep it stock looking or at least a nice set of clear's and mod that motor that way when the Kid in the Hatchback Honda pulls up with the Fartcan and added 2 foot wing on the roof of his car, he will look quite stupid as your 240 blows him into the weeds and he gets to make excuses! KA-T all the way!

I really don't like smoked tail lights. Stocks aren't appealing but better than smoked tails. If you are going trough all that trouble just buy the kouki tails. I would just go with retro fitting them with LEDs and go from there.
