Anybody install aftermarket racing seats in an S14?

I put D.A.D Racing (pretty much same design as Sparco Torinos) seats in my 98 240SX and couldn't get the universal mounting brackets to work so I cut up my stock ones and bolted the sliders on. This works fine, they are in a good position and are very secure however they are too hight up!. My head is on the roof. I looked around and the only company that makes application specific mounting brackets is Corbeau and even with those it says it raises you 2-3" over stock. Ideas?

I have the corbeau a4's, along with their brackets. to lower it a bit, there should be some washers in the bottom. take all those out (you will see what i'm talking about). you should see a lil bit of a difference. i'm 6'2, so i know EXACTLY what ur talkin about. my head was in the ceiling too...~Scotts14
