This might be the wrong place for this thread but I'm selling an RB20det. It has a built T3 turbo good for about 25psi. Includes motor, transmission, wiring harness, ecu, and a Nismo short shifter that was on it. I'm located in North Carolina. It was an abandoned project so I can't use it. I'm asking $900 for it all.

Who wouldn't want this motor at this price? What's the catch? Seems fishy to me.

There is nothing fishy with it. I got the motor from Japan Direct in Raleigh,NC. I got a good deal on it and I'm just trying to help someone else out. I was going to put it in an RX7 but the sump won't clear right. So I'm just going to get another rotary for my RX7 and sell the RB. You can get S13 conversion parts from http://www.unstable-hybrids.com. You can get their mounts and the motor will bolt into the stock S13 crossmember. The motor is in excellent shape and the turbo I got for it is nuts. You can hear it spooling at idle. Well, if anybody is interested drop me a line at [email protected]

If you need it shipped I can arrange it via FedEx Freight for an extra fee.

Yep, sounds fishy. :D

I got my RB20DET clip for a good price. Funny thing the engine importer had sold it "three times" but the buyers kept flaking out on him. He just wanted it "out of the shop". Full warranty, but a good price. Ya, last Sklyine Clip he plans on importing as he got tired of dealing with non-paying "buyers".

Reason I went with the seller was from four friends having bought SR20's from him... all got excellent clips, so felt comfortable sending him the money for the motor.

If you were in Austin, I'd be tempted to look at it.....

Oh for shipping motors, etc... check out Forward Air. Land Cruiser I6 Austin to St Paul MN... $170 (next cheapest quote was $600). Limited service (terminal drop off and pick up... but prices do rock!) http://www.forwardair.com

Tom

Hmmm... Need to pickup a Land Cruiser in NC next month... Hmmm... should have the bed of the truck open. :)

I still have it and I have the invoices from when I bought the motor. The only thing I really don't have is the MAFS which I was going to use a Z32 300zx one with an Apexi SAFC. If anybody needs to see the invoices you can e-mail me. Thanks.

for those saying they called it first. please conduct yourself in a more mature manner. i doubt he cares who called what. ive sold engines before, first person to flash the cash gets it, not the first person that says theyll take it (usually the first person, doesnt buy, its never that easy). flash cash or quiet down and let real buyers get it. i also wouldnt be asking for 40lbs of receipts for a swap that costs 900 bucks, a compression test is all you should be asking for at that price.

my advice dude, sell it on ebay with pics and a compression test handy, and make real money.
