Anybody running a lightweight flywheel with a Unorthodox crank pulley (with over drive water pump pulley of course) combo at the same time with high hp

My set up is I have an unorthodox crank pulley with a Fidanza flywheel and i know our engines can handle it but my worry is long term bearing wear? has anybody been rocking this set up? The fidanza will not be taken off since i like it lightness but i am open to swapping back the factory crank pulley if it means more reliability in the long run.

My goal is to track the Z32tt 60% of the time and 40% street time

Power output goal is 400whp to 450whp (Stock turbos with Super split DP's)
Weight goal: 3200lbs maybe a little less if lucky (Interior is getting stripped, factory seat swapped in favor with Bride seats, trunk stripped, hicas deleted, currently no A/c will see how long i last before i say enough lol)

(I do have most mods to make that goal happen but I'm building the car gradually to that level maybe start at 350whp then work my way up)

But back to my question will my engines bearing suffer alot if i run the light weight combo or should i just run stock pulley. The flywheel mod is good for tracking circuit wise due revs climbing fast, but i heard if you do the combo the car responds way more and revs real quick but what i have been hearing is that it comes at the cost of your bearings but the other side of the argument is that our engines are sooo mechanically balanced that it don't phase it unless you run crazy HP and also if you run real high boost you can do the same damage or even more damage then a UD pulley does. So some saw yes and some say no i would like to hear someone here who has this set up it or something close to it with an RPS flywheel or something. but the car will be seeing a regular 350whp at least all the time

I'd be interested to hear people's opinions. I believe my crankshaft pulley is shot, and can either get a used OEM for cheap or go with a UD kit.

I have it on mine.

The VG has a very short crank, shorter than other 4 cylinder Nissan engines. It is also very balanced from the factory. There are many TT owners that have over 100k miles on their engines with the same solid Unorthodox pulley with no problems.

So basically if your engine is healthy I think you have nothing to worry about.

I have been running a ud pulley with a jwt (fidanza) flywheel since 09 without issue but i am a measly n/a. Like said though you shouldnt have issues if your engine is in good shape. The VG in general is known for bearing issues with or without any upgrades.

Nissan and other import car manufacturers did incredible balance work on the crank shafts and there assemblies....so 95% of the cases you wont need a harmonic balancer and you will/should be fine.

We don't actually have a harmonic balancer. We have a Torsional Dampener. The engine was so balanced that it didn't require a harmonic dampener. The purpose of the torsional dampener is to reduce accessory noise transmitted to the crank through the belts. Cause that's a big concern of mine.
